What do you do when you're in the fire with only a high rise window of escape - do you jump, or do you burn?

That was the reality many faced high above the streets of Lower Manhattan on 9/11.......and in the end, whether they chose to remain in the building or not, all of them would fall.

I watched a documentary recently that explored the descent of one such man - the falling man - who is captured in the photograph above.......little did he know what impact his fall would have on so many.

Was he saved?

Of all the questions we could ask, none of them is more important than that one.

This photo frames that ultimate question with striking clarity - a man headed straight down with an eternal decision hanging in the balance:

Light or darkness.......

Heaven or hell.......

Life or death.

It's a picture of all of us.

Did God catch this man? We have no way of knowing for sure this side of heaven.

Will God catch us? Of that we can be absolutely certain:

"For God so loved the world,
that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in Him
should not perish,
but have everlasting life."
- Jesus (John 3:16)
