Believe
You don't have to change the world, son,
to be loved by Me
you already are

Believe in Me, and you will see
the place I have for you
Believe.
Jesus loves you!
This poem echoes that simple truth, and is what I hear Him speaking to me when the enemy tries to convince me that I'm not good enough for His love - that I haven't done enough to earn it.
The truth is that God's love for us is not contingent on anything that we do (or have done) - it is because of who He is, not who we are. His love is unconditional and everlasting - His love will never fail.
To believe in Him, is to accept that He loves you.
"Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me;
for I am meek and lowly in heart:
and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light."

Lord, help us to know that You love us,
and to show that love to those that need it most
